In this engaging session, participants will look at the role a dedicated investment fund for global health R&D could have on encouraging biotech participation in the field. Panelists will look at the proposed fund would impact improved R&D efforts, how sustainability could be built into such a fund and what are the reasonable demands the fund could make in return for their investment.

Julie Klim is Vice President, Business Development of BVGH. She was previously Principal and Co-Founder of Capital Royalty L.P., a private equity fund specializing in royalty based financing in the healthcare sector. Prior to Capital Royalty, Ms. Klim was Director, Worldwide Business Development for GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.
